Facetime app: no buttons for audio or Facetime?

Good day to all

After opening the Facetime app and entering a contact, no buttons appear for"Audio icon(phone handset)" and"Facetime icon (video camera)". , but always only"Invite with messages".What am I doing wrong?

Here you have to make sure that the other party (the person you want to contact) has the correct contact address:

phone number, which is linked to their Apple ID.
email address, which is linked to their Apple ID

If the phone number is not linked to the Apple ID, it cannot be found and therefore you will see "Invite with message".
