New and enhanced features

General features.

• Portable companion Zoom Room
  Administrators can enable a setting which allows a Zoom Rooms for Touch room to be used as a companion Zoom Room. Once the companion Zoom Room is no longer needed, it can be disconnected and used as a standard Zoom Rooms for Touch room again with minimal effort. Both the companion room and the main room require a license.
• Support for Zoom Events simulive webinars
  Zoom Rooms users can join simulive webinars as attendees or panelists.
• Support Companion Zoom Rooms and Whiteboards in Zoom Events
  Companion Zoom Rooms and Whiteboards can be used in a Zoom Event.
• Pro AV Hardware Input and Output Support (Beta)
  Zoom Rooms can now send video and audio to and receive video from certain Pro AV hardware devices including the Blackmagic Design DeckLink Duo 2 and Quad 2. This feature allows individuals, groups, galleries, shared content, or active speakers to be transmitted over professional hardware connections, and if multi camera mode is enabled, up to 4 Pro AV inputs can be assigned to Zoom Room cameras. This beta feature requires enablement by an account representative, is configured under a new Web Portal setting for approved accounts, and is managed by a new Pro AV Zoom Rooms Controller which will be provided to approved beta customers on an individual basis.
• Panelist Support for Production Studio in Zoom Events
  Panelists can now join a Zoom Event enabled with Production Studio. When joining, panelists will see a non-produced view and get panelist specific notifications about the scene they are on and if they are going to speak next. Panelists will be able to see the produced view as a thumbnail in gallery view or on a confidence monitor if needed.
• Display correct meeting topic and duration of scheduled PMI meetings
  When a Zoom Room with calendar integration receives an invitation to a user's Personal Meeting ID meeting, the Zoom Room will show the duration and topic of the scheduled PMI meeting on the meeting list.
• Directional audio is now spatial audio
  The directional audio feature has been renamed to spatial audio.
• Support for Workvivo TV on Zoom Digital Signage
  This integration between Zoom Digital Signage and Workvivo TV allows companies using both platforms to easily display Workvivo TV content on Zoom Digital Signage screens. Account owners and Zoom Rooms admins can enable the integration and select the Workvivo TV content feeds when configuring Zoom Rooms Digital Signage devices.
• Digital signage only room restriction
  Digital signage only rooms may join meetings, but will be unable to send audio or video while in-meeting.
• Webinar Backstage enhancement
  Participants in Zoom Rooms can use Network microphones/speakers, and dual audio in Webinar backstage sessions.
• Save preset images from Intelligent Director calibration
  Zoom Rooms problem reports will include images from the camera presets for Intelligent Director.
• Support for Pexip CVI SIP Guest Join for MS Teams meetings
  Zoom Rooms can join Microsoft Teams meetings using Pexip CVI “SIP Guest Join” with a customer’s Pexip CVI service.
• Open Zoom App directly from Zoom Rooms for Touch home screen
  Users can open Zoom Apps from the home screen on Zoom Rooms for Touch devices.
• Support for NDI Cameras (Beta)
  NDI cameras can be selected as the video input for Zoom Rooms. .
• Support compatibility with new Z6 meetings multi-share capability
  Users can view and interact with a multi-share mix of one-or-more screens of shared content and one-or-more whiteboards.

In-meeting features

• Dynamic layouts is now multi-speaker view
  The dynamic layouts feature has been renamed to multi-speaker view.
• Support for Multi-speaker view with multiple screens
  Multi-speaker view, formally known as dynamic layouts, can now be used on one screen of a multi-screen Zoom Room.
• Support full transcript panel
  Zoom Rooms users can open the full transcript panel when live transcription is used for meetings.
• Support for Presenter focus mode
  Presenter Focus mode can be used with Yealink M500 + UVC 86, HP Poly E60, and AVer TR315N cameras.
• Disclosure notice updates
  Notices for Meeting Summary, Meeting Question, Ask AI Companion, recording, live streaming, and saveable captions will be combined and displayed once when a feature is first activated.
• Per-meeting temporary room display name
  Administrators can enable a prompt that will appear when a Zoom Room joins a Zoom meeting. The in-room users can use the prompt to temporarily change the room’s display name for the meeting, if desired.
• Support Zoom App Icon Overlay
  Apps can overlay app content on the meeting window for everyone to see.
• Transform links shared in meeting chat into QR codes
  When Zoom Rooms receive a shared link in a meeting chat, the link will be displayed as a QR code which the in-room users can scan and open with their mobile devices.
• Updated Camera Control user interface
  The Camera Control interface has been updated to allow for easy selection of Camera Modes.
• Zoom Room display name in third-party meeting
  Zoom Rooms that dial into third-party meetings via CRC will have their room names displayed correctly.

Management features

• Alert when Companion whiteboard or Companion Zoom Rooms for Touch device is disconnected
  Administrators can be alerted when a Companion whiteboard or Companion Zoom Rooms for touch device is disconnected.
• Support automatic logout after set time period
  Administrators can configure an automatic logout for Zoom for Home and Personal Zoom Room devices after a set period of time, or allow an exception so these devices can stay logged-in perpetually.
• Speaker and Multi-focus framing default for Multi-Camera mode
  Administrators can set Speaker Focus or Multi-focus framing as the default setting for Multi-Camera mode.
• Meeting ending notification
  Administrators can configure a meeting ending notification that will be displayed in scheduled meetings. Meeting participants will see the notification twice: ten minutes before the meeting is scheduled to end, and again one minute before the meeting ends.
• Update to Workspace dashboard
  The Workspace dashboard will display the number of reservations that were canceled because a check-in did not occur.

Zoom for Home features

• Support for Personal Zoom Rooms on Windows devices without a touchscreen
  Windows devices without touch screen displays can now be signed-in as Personal Zoom rooms.
• Support for Zoom Calendar on Personal Zoom Rooms
  Personal Zoom Rooms may now use Zoom Calendar.

Zoom Whiteboard

• Improved Whiteboard loading time
  Users collaboration with Dten Companion whiteboards will see their inputs quickly appear on the main Zoom Room display
