AmazonCan Alexa recognize who someone comes home (e.g. if you log into the W-lan with your smartphone) and then greet and give a little briefing? How to the example weather, following appointments, ask whether it should play music.
I don't believe with Echo devices alone but there are a number of sensors for Zigbeen to trigger welcome routines.
