Update

Apple Music available on Amazon Echos from December

Apple Music will be controllable from December via Amazon Alexa. From 17 December, Apple Music users will be able to play their favourite songs, albums and artists as well as all playlists stored in the music streaming service. It will also be possible to stream professionally produced Beats-1 radio stations that focus on different genres via Alexa voice commands.

The owners of echo loudspeakers only have to activate the Apple music skills in the Alexa app. All you have to do is link to your account and the music can play. Apple would like to increase your user base by offering Apple Music on the echo speakers. In July 2018, the Apple Music stream Spotify had displaced Spotify from number 1 among paying users. Worldwide, however, Spotify is still far ahead. For your information: Apple Music is the only Apple service offered on Android.
