New Homekit Features Announced During WWDC 2020

Apple announced some new Homekit features during its WWDC 2020 event. First is the "new automation suggestions and expanded controls in Control Center", that'll help to make it easier for users especially the smart home beginners who are still figuring out everything about home automation. Users will get suggestions for automation options or routines when they add a HomeKit compatible device. Next is the support for Adaptive Lighting, Homekit connected smart bulbs will automatically adjust its color, brightness, and temperature throughout the day. The other is Face Recognition that let's Homekit-enabled doorbell cameras to recognize faces then lets you know who it is through your Homepod/Apple TV notifications. The last one is Activity Zones that lets you specify sections of the video feed to limit alerts. The announced improvements are expected to arrive together with the iOS 14 and tvOS 14 launch this fall.
