How to Reduce macOS Sonoma Battery Drain

1. Free Up RAM:
   Use CleanMyMac X’s Maintenance module to free up RAM and optimize performance. Download CleanMyMac X, open it, choose Maintenance, select Free up RAM, and click Run.
2. Check Background Processes:
   Initial setup tasks like Spotlight indexing, Photos syncing, Time Machine backups, and app updates can drain the battery. Plug your Mac into a power adapter and wait for these processes to complete.
3. Use Activity Monitor:
   Identify resource-heavy apps using Activity Monitor. Go to Applications>Utilities>Activity Monitor, sort by CPU usage, and quit any high-usage processes.
