Trello Inbox: Capture Your To-Dos Anywhere

The wait is over—the new Trello is here!

We’re thrilled to announce that the wait is finally over—the new Trello is now generally available! (the rollout will happen gradually over the next few weeks). After months of testing and refining during our beta program, we’re excited to bring these powerful new features to everyone. It’s time to put away your pen, sticky notes, and notepad — take your personal productivity to the next level with Trello instead!

What’s New in Trello?
The new Trello is designed to help you capture, organize, and tackle your to-dos like never before. Here’s what you can expect:

Trello Inbox: Capture Your To-Dos Anywhere
Say goodbye to scattered tasks. With the new Trello Inbox, you can collect to-dos from:

  • Messages: Save important tasks from Slack and Microsoft Teams.
  • Emails: Forward messages to inbox@app.trello.com
  • Voice commands on iOS: “Hey Siri, add ‘Follow up with Alex’ to Trello.”
  • Raw ideas or mental notes: Jot down your to-dos on Trello from any mobile or desktop device. Additionally, with the new mobile widget for Android, you can add tasks to your Inbox without ever needing to open the Trello app (iOS version coming soon).

AI-Powered Productivity
Let Atlassian Intelligence (AI) assist you with Trello’s new Quick Capture capability — AI can parse through forwarded Slack messages, Microsoft Teams, or emails to your Trello Inbox and extract due dates, priorities, and action items from raw text so you can focus on what matters most.

Trello Planner: Organize and Focus
Plan your day with ease by connecting your Google or Microsoft calendar to the new Trello Planner. Drag and drop tasks effortlessly from your Trello Inbox or boards directly onto your Planner to block focus time and meet deadlines.

Bonus: Updated Mirror cards and Trello UI
Earlier this year, a highly anticipated feature was announced—Mirror cards allows you to efficiently manage your tasks scattered across multiple boards by allowing you to “mirror” or sync your Trello cards. Mirror cards has an additional update: you can now view mirrored cards in all the board views (Table, Calendar, Timeline, Map) and filter your boards with them included, making it easier to keep track of your various to-dos.

Exciting changes are also coming to Trello’s user interface! A new navigation bar gives you an easier way to switch between your Inbox, Planner, and board
or view all three at the same time.

In addition, when you click on a Trello card, you’ll discover a refreshed design that features a more compact and streamlined card back. This update reflects our commitment to simplicity, aiming to improve your experience as you organize and manage your tasks more effectively.
