Connectivity Update: Resolved Issues and Known Bugs

New Features:

Nothing known

Enhancements:

  • UM-819: Improved ConMon reporting when the device becomes PTP grandmaster.

Fixed Bugs:

  • UM-779: Made DHCP initial transaction ID a random value.
  • UM-771: Resolved issue with subscriptions failing after reboot/network down using static IP.
  • UM-111: Fixed bug with latency negotiation resulting in transmitted audio not received.
  • UM-162: Addressed inability to subscribe to a multicast flow if the flow's label length exceeds 28 characters, resulting in the creation of a unicast flow.
  • ULT-377: Resolved the issue where multicast flow creation on a DAIx with label length over 19 characters prevents other devices from subscribing to the multicast flow, forcing unicast subscription.
  • UM-188: Fixed multicast flow issue on a DIOUSB with label length exceeding 19 characters, preventing other devices from subscribing to the multicast flow.
  • MIL-4518: Corrected temporary loss of clock synchronization when devices in a multi-subnet domain are disconnected and reconnected.

Open Issues:

  • UM-807: DDM interop: PTP v2-only devices lose clock sync when a 'preferred master' boundary clock device is re-enrolled in the domain.
  • UM-841: Changing sample rate and rebooting the device removes subscriptions. Workaround: Manually re-subscribe the required channels.
