Description
Dante stands for Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet and is above all an audio network protocol that enables the transmission of uncompressed audio signals at low latency. More than 500 audio channels can be transmitted simultaneously and bi-directional via a Cat cable. Dante is now integrated into many audio DSPs, mixing consoles and amplifiers and can also be used for control purposes. The network socket of a computer can also function as a Dante audio interface with the help of a special Dante driver.
