Why are my devices not displayed in the Dante Controller? Cannot make connections.

If a device is not shown in the Dante Controller there are a number of reasons that could be causing the problem.

Firstly make sure the physical connection is set up. Check if the network cable is connected to the correct socket on the respective device. Furthermore the network cable could be defective. In order to check this, make sure the status/activity LED light up at the respective socket. If this is not the case, the cable could be damaged prohibiting the physical connection.

Secondly make sure the correct network interface is selected in the Dante Controller software.

Thirdly the firewall or antivirus software could be blocking Dante relevant traffic. Try deactivating the software and configuring the firewall.
