I intend to use Dante to receive a mix from a TF5, is it possible?

I have a sound setup entirely based on Dante, and I do online streaming of the service. In the studio where we do the streaming, we use a TF5 to mix the 64 channels, and currently, we use the master output to a digital audio interface that converts the sound back to digital and then it's attached to the video in OBS.
My idea is, instead of using the TF5's analog master output, we would use a network card in the streaming PC to route the master output via Dante. Is this possible? Would I need Dante Via or the Dante Virtual Sound Card?

Answers

Yes, it is possible to route the master output of the TF5 via Dante. I would recommend Dante Virtual Sound Card (DVS) in your case. This is better suited for transmitting a large number of channels - up to 64 bidirectional channels.

The following steps would then have to be carried out

1. Dante configuration:Make sure that your TF5 and the streaming PC are properly integrated into the Dante network and can communicate with each other.
2. Dante Controller:Use Dante Controller to configure the Dante devices and ensure that your streaming PC can see the master output of the TF5.
3. install Dante Virtual Sound Card:Install the Dante Virtual Sound Card on your streaming PC.
4. routing the audio output:Configure the Dante Virtual Sound Card to use the master output of the TF5 as the audio source.
5. connection with OBS:In OBS you can then select the Dante devices as audio sources and integrate them into your stream configuration.
