Yes, PCs and notebooks recognize the ClickShare Buttons as "USB speakers" and are normally automatically selected as the default playback device. If this is not the case, the audio setting must be changed manually on the notebook (ClickShare Button must be plugged in).
The ClickShare buttons also transmit the audio signal wirelessly. In the ClickShare web interface under the menu item "Display and Audio" you can determine which output the ClickShare base unit uses to output the audio signal and deactivate the audio output completely.
