Connectivity Update: Resolved Issues and Known Bugs

New Features:

Enhancements:

• Auto-update to the new version will be available two weeks after public release.
• ClickShare Desktop App v4.17 is required for over-the-air detection of the Base Unit.
• Free 5GHz Wi-Fi channels are recommended to optimize performance.

Fixed Bugs:

• Using passive pens with touchscreens is now functioning correctly on Newline, Sharp, and CVTE devices.
• The initial setup and registration visibility issue after a full reset has been resolved.
• Switching between Teams calls no longer retains the shared screen on the meeting room display.
• Meeting room availability status is now updated correctly in all circumstances.
• The proxy route issue after enabling proxy configurations has been fixed for all communications.

Open Issues:

• Users must ensure YouTube is closed before using AirPlay to avoid an overlay issue: KB11880.
• The ClickShare Desktop App may prompt users to change Wi-Fi networks when connecting to the Base Unit in Wi-Fi client mode: KB12349.

Update Instructions:

• To automatically launch the ClickShare App on the Button when plugged in, install version 1.20 of the ClickShare Windows Driver (see KB12204).
• Note that v02.10.01 is a minimal version and does not permit downgrading to earlier versions post-installation.
