Improved security and new functionalities with ClickShare firmware 1.9.1

With this release ClickShare gives you improved user experiences, increased flexibility, security and additional features.

The main new features this release includes:

• The ClickShare Desktop App is now just a Button away, bringing you features like App sharing, to work on notes during your presentation.
• Having issues routing Airplay discovery on your network? Using Bluetooth, Apple devices can now discover the Base Unit with ease.

Next to the addition of features, a number of known issues from the earlier firmware version have been resolved:

• In some occasions an authentication failure was noticed with network integration due to lost settings
• After intermittent upgrades, the unit was sometimes not manageable anymore by XMS
• Chinese characters entered as meeting room name were not reflected in the mobile app
• Mitigated security reports include CVE-2019-18827, CVE-2019-18830, CVE-2019-18831, CVE-2019-18826 and CVE-2019-18828

Important notes to consider before upgrading:

• This update is a minimal version and does not allow downgrading to any version below v01.09.01 after installation.
