LabVIEW 2021 Crashes When an EtherCAT Target Is Added to the Project Tree

  • When using the NI Industrial Communications for EtherCAT 21.5 driver with LabVIEW 2021, adding an EtherCAT target to the project tree causes LabVIEW to crash.

Workaround:

  • Use a previous version of LabVIEW or install LabVIEW version 2021 SP1. The issue has been fixed in LabVIEW 2021 SP1.
