New TEC-X features and improved System Description
Improvements
- New TEC-X features include significantly improved performance, multiple pages, anti-aliased font, icons, and configurable button state properties. Adding and configuring TEC-X devices is now easier than ever, with the introduction of TEC-X blocks users load TEC-X as part of their Tesira layout, all in one step
- Users with existing TEC-X devices, please note:
- After upgrading a system to Tesira 4.4.0, existing TEC-X 1000 and TEC-X 2000 products will be in an unconfigured state. You must perform manual steps to migrate your existing TEC-X configurations. Please refer to he help documentation or visit http://www.biamp.com/tecxupgrade.
- For new configurations created with Tesira 4.4.0, TEC-X 1000 and TEC-X 2000 devices are now configured as standard Tesira Control Blocks residing on the layout.
- The use of TEC-X JSON configuration files has been deprecated. TEC-X configuration data is now stored in the Tesira TMF configuration file.
- The Control Pad Designer has been removed and replaced with a TEC-X Control Dialog invoked by double clicking a TEC-X block on the layout.
- Tesira software now shows System Description in the Firmware Update dialog.
