Update

Windows Update automatic firmware updates are now supported

New Features:

  • Windows Update automatic firmware updates are now supported on TesiraFORTE X processor USB connections for Biamp Launch and Tesira Software configured systems.
  • Added a control to enable automatic firmware update in the Biamp Launch web page under Room Controls on the Audio settings page. Automatic firmware updates are enabled by default when running Launch.
  • Added a control to enable automatic firmware update in Tesira Software under Network Settings in Device Maintenance. Only Tesira layouts containing a single TesiraFORTE X processor are supported.
  • TesiraFORTE X processor USB connections now support telemetry for Microsoft Teams Rooms.

Updates:

  • NPX paging stations will now page to all available zones when in “some destinations busy” state. Requires NPX firmware 1.3.0 or newer.

Resolved Software Issues:

  • Resolved issue when restoring a minimized Uber Filter block could cause Tesira Software to restart.
  • Resolved issue when certain tabs in device maintenance would not render correctly in Chinese version of Microsoft Windows.
  • Resolved issue when attempting to add a reserved username in device protection could cause an inconsistent device state.

Resolved Firmware Issues:

  • Resolved issue when changing the AVB Peer Delay Threshold on TesiraFORTE Rev. B or newer would not take effect.
  • Resolved issue when using a preset recall to bypass AI Enhanced Noise Reduction would not properly bypass the DSP block.
  • Resolved rare issue when using a TesiraFORTE X with VoIP and AI Enhanced Noise Reduction could result in audio being incorrectly mixed between the VoIP block and the AI Enhanced Noise Reduction block.
  • Resolved issue with TesiraFORTE X USB hook switch state when connected to Cisco Room series devices.
  • Resolved issue when using AVB.1 blocks on TesiraFORTE X and TesiraFORTE Rev. B or newer could prevent the Tesira device from being detected by AVDECC controllers and disrupt fast connect AVB streams with third-party AVB devices.

Known Issues:

  • AES67 streams may disconnect after a period of normal operation on TesiraFORTE X and TesiraFORTE Rev. B or newer.
  • Dante channels from Dante Virtual Soundcard may appear on incorrect channels or experience noise on TesiraFORTE X and TesiraFORTE Rev. B or newer.
