How can I connect a Samsung Galaxy as a camera to the Atem Mini?

Hello everyone, I want to connect a Samsung Galaxy S24 as a camera to the Atem Mini via a corresponding cable (USB-C HDMI) (for live streaming and Zoom meetings). Unfortunately, the cell phone is not recognized as a camera (e.g. only the cell phone screen is displayed in Zoom). Is there a special app/software or a special adapter that helps to connect an Android phone to the Atem Mini as a camera?

Answers

There is no direct cable for this. You have to configure it. If the software supports it, you can enter the Zoom meeting with your cell phone and PC at the same time and then remove the camera from the cell phone.

Since you mentioned streaming live, OBS and the virtual camera would still be an option. For example, there is the page https://vdo.ninja/ where you can create an invite and then import it via OBS.

Another option would be DroidCam, instructions can be found here

With the appropriate search engine, you are sure to find even more free or paid methods. These are free of charge.
