  • ESP (ESP-880A)

ControlSpace Designer can now go online without having to update Dante firmware whenan update is available.

Defect Fixes

  • Fixed a defect in EX-1280C processors resulting in the USB audio gain eventually muting the PC audio.
  • Fixed a defect resulting in ControlSpace Designer crashing when ControlSpace Cloud is selected in the Project View.
  • Fixed a defect resulting in PowerShareX devices displaying incorrect parameter values after going online via download when running the PSXProxy on a PC.
  • Fixed a defect resulting in ControlSpace Designer crashing w

Known Issues, Defects, and Limitations

  • PSX cannot act as RTC/Main device
  • PSX Power-On state is always ‘restore last settings’ and this cannot be toggled off
  • All inputs wake up PSX from standby and you cannot limit it to fewer inputs
  • PSX amplifier’s limiter behaves differently than PowerMatch or PowershareD, therefore custom limiter presets have been loaded in the Bose Professional Loudspeaker EQ preset files bank that comes with CSD. They contain different values than PowerMatch or PowerShareD amplifiers.
  • Operating “Control 1” knob of the CC-64 may cause a discrepancy between the value of the level of the Group displayed on the CC-64 and that of each Output displayed on the CC-64.
  • In rare cases, you may need to reboot an EX processor after configuring a DHCP address for telemetry information to be sent to the ControlSpace Cloud.
  • In rare cases within a large system, some PSX amplifiers will appear to be in standby in CSD; however, the monitoring tool and front LED of the amplifier indicate they are in Ready mode.
  • In large systems (40 PSX devices), when the user goes online in CSD there are some PSX devices which appear to be in standby but the front panel shows the devices are in Ready mode.
  • When operating the Group gain of the outputs of 22 PSX amplifiers from CC-64, CC-16, or CCxD, the Group gain may fluctuate.
  • Nothing may be displayed on the CC-64 when operating the Group gain of 22 PSX amplifiers.
  • The CC-64 may not go online when operating the Group gain of 22 PSX amplifiers.
  • Group functions do not work when there are 5 EX or ESP devices and 50 PSX amplifiers in a system design.
  • ParameterSets cannot be recalled from CC-64, CC-16, CC-xD when there are 5 EX or ESP devices and 50 PSX amplifiers in a system design.
  • Timer functions do not work when there are 5 EX or ESP devices and 50 PSX amplifiers in a system design.
  • Going online with 2 EX or ESP devices and 22 PSX amplifiers may take approximately 60 seconds. Adding additional devices increases the going online time.
  • In rare cases when transferring a system from one ControlSpace Cloud account to another, the RTC’s Cloud ID may display the value of ‘null’ in ControlSpace Designer and unable to be claimed. To resolve this issue, please downgrade the RTC’s firmware. If using an EX, this will require 3.008 or when using an ESP-880A, this will require 4.008. After downgrading the firmware, please proceed with a firmware update.
