Update Instructions:
- Startup Config is Always Read from Flash: Starting from Cisco IOS XE Release 17.10.1, startup configuration is read from flash.
- SMU Installation: Boot in Install Mode: SMU installations require the switch to be booted in install mode from Cisco IOS XE 17.9.1.
- IE3400 Hardware Changes: Some hardware changes may necessitate software upgrades based on switch and module types.
