Capture more participants in frames
Improvements
Hot-desking prebooking
- Now you can book your hot-desking space even before walking into the office. Device in the space is reserved for the user and they simply sign-in to confirm and personalize.
- Cisco Spaces provides a desk reservation solution that allows prebooking through a mobile or kiosk app and is seamlessly integrated with the RoomOS devices.
- Also, RoomOS provides extensive xAPIs to prebook remotely such that any desk reservation solution could integrate with it.
- Hybrid Calendar can also be used for reserving desks or quiet rooms much like conference rooms.
Capture more participants in frames
- With frames camera mode showing participants in two rows instead of the previous one, up to eight participants are shown in their individual frames.
- The original frames experience will still be available to configure through the xAPI.
- Supported on: Room Kit Pro, Room Kit EQ, Room Kit EQX, Room Bar Pro, Board Pro G2.
Batch erase on whiteboards
- This feature is an improved eraser that allows you to erase multiple strokes in one go with a real-time preview of what’s being removed. Made a mistake? Undo everything instantly with a single undo action.
- Supported on Board Pro, Board Pro G2, Desk Pro, and codecs connected to supported third-party touch screens.
Main video compositing in WebRTC meetings
- Main video compositing functionality is now available for WebRTC meetings, extending a capability that has already been available in Webex Meetings and calls. This enhancement provides a consistent experience across all meeting types and offers greater flexibility for users with unique setups.
- You can select and configure specific video sources, such as a device camera or an HDMI-connected laptop, as the primary video feed during a call. Multiple video sources can be displayed in either a side-by-side layout or as picture-in-picture (PiP). Control the input source through the xCommand Video Input SetMainVideoSource which allows you to switch between video sources or cameras during a call. This can also be used to switch between cameras programmatically.
- Wireless video sources are not supported for video compositing in WebRTC calls.
DHCP Option 55 Parameter Request List
- This update to the DHCP Option 55 Parameter Request List introduces new and modified parameters that clients can request from the DHCP server. This improves network configuration capabilities and compatibility.
