Webex Update Introduces New Features and Enhancements

New Features:

  • Post webinar and post-meeting survey: Hosts can define the survey questionnaire and layout when they set up a webinar.
  • Single Sign On (SSO) for Webex Scheduler Outlook add-in: Users can sign in once, eliminating the need for re-authentication with Microsoft Outlook credentials.
  • Select and download multiple recordings: Navigate to My Recordings > Recordings on your Webex site to access and download.

Enhancements:

  • Webinar template scope improvement: Additional settings include registration questions (with approval rules), panelists, email template, registration landing page, webinar materials, and practice session setup.
  • Streaming and recordings layout adjustment: The layout can now be dynamically adjusted in a Webex meeting based on the stage layout.
  • Breakout sessions support: On-premises registered video devices can now be moved to breakout sessions in meetings and webinars.
  • Shortcuts for simultaneous interpretation: New keyboard shortcuts have been added.
  • Attendee email registration improvement: Attendees no longer need to re-enter their email or registration ID before joining a webinar.
  • Hide non-video users: This feature allows hiding individuals with disabled video on registered video devices, enhancing the video experience.
  • Change meeting layout from Webex app: Users can adjust the meeting layout on paired Cisco room, desk devices, or mobile directly from the Webex app.
