How to connect the navigator to the codec?

I believe I am having a firmware issue with the Navigator. I can't get it to connect to the device to download the firmware.

Connecting the navigator to the codec is done via an Ethernet cable and is usually very simple.

Here are the steps to connect the Navigator to a Cisco codec:

  1. make sure that the codec and the navigator are powered.
  2. connect the Navigator to the same network as the codec. This can be done either via Ethernet or WLAN.
    Make sure that the codec and the navigator are on the same network segment. 4.
    On the codec, go to the System menu and select Navigator. 5.
    Check the Navigator option and enter the IP address of the Navigator. 6.
    Click Apply to save the settings.
