Update

Brings ZRC upgrade scheme improvement plus LLDP Support

Improvement(s)

? SIP VLAN Tagging (LLDP Support) - Support Auto Voice VLAN and Telephony OUI

? Secured Password conformity - SB-327 Information privacy: connected devices

  • User will need to create a new secure password when logging into the webUI for the first time.

? Zoom room controller version: 4.6.2

  • ZRC release notes can be found here.

? Zoom Room Controller updates now upgrade independently of Mercury firmware. Please ensure auto-update is enabled, and ZRC updates should roll out to Mercury ~2 weeks after Zoom GA release.

Known Issue(s)

? SIP - PJSIP stack only support TLS1.0 currently.

? SIP - Mercury with VLAN Tagging - LLDP Enabled is not able to Register to the Mitel MiVoice Business PBX.

? SIP - WebUI display SIP LLDP-MED Voice VLAN Priority 0 as VLAN Priority 5.

? SIP - Incoming calls disturb the ongoing presentation in the Teams video mode.

? Flex - Huddly IQ Camera turns off intermittently while the teams call is in progress.

? Flex - Audio adapter 'Crestron Mercury' displays 2 entries in the laptop connected to Mercury-X-Flex in Teams Video-BYOD Mode

? Flex - In Teams mode: BYOD scenario mute/un-mute is not in sync between the laptop and Mercury-X during Teams call - this is NO HID support for MUTE currently.

? AirMedia - Miracast is presenting full screen but with a black frame.

? Video - The following resolutions are NOT currently support - 1080p 30 Hz, 1080p 25 Hz, 1080p 29.97 Hz.

Note(s)

? Device Behavior

> Upon uploading new firmware end-user will have to pick Crestron Default, Teams Video or ZOOM

> SIP - SIP VLAN Manual requires a refresh WebUI to update SIP setting qos_sip & qos_voice values

> SIP - DSCP codes are not editable as per initial firmware spec in Web UI and Xio

> SIP - Extreme switch reads incoming packets received from Mercury then sets the priority/VLAN ID in LLDP-MED mode with auto voice VLAN.

  • Extreme 220 Switch only allows configuring either VLAN ID or Priority in LLDP mode Auto-VLAN Network Policy. Extreme switch sets priority after reading Priority from the connected device when the switch is set to VLAN ID and vice versa.

To support these switches, Mercury will have to expose 3 new fields in LLDP mode:

1. Auto - To auto-detect configuration for switches that can support both VLAN ID and Priority configuration in LLDP.

2. VLAN ID - To allow user configure priority at switch side on switches with limitation.

3. Priority - To allow user configure VLAN ID at switch side on switches with limitation.

> CEC - SAMSUNG QM49H TV is not powered OFF after Mercury goes to sleep - Update the Power control settings as listed.
  • The solution to this issue is to change the Power Button setting on the Samsung TV to "Power On/Off". Default is "Power On Only". To change this setting navigate to Menu > System > Power Controls > Power Button
> AirMedia - receiver hostname gets overwritten by another host on Airplay Menu while Start/Stop Mirroring from an iOS device - Restart the iOS device

> Flex - in some instances it was observed that there was NO audio on Mercury during the presentation after the USB cable is removed. Recovery is to stop/start HDMI presentation.

> XiO Device Driver - NEC Multisync Serial driver doesn't get pushed to Mercury X device from XIO Cloud-Group level; the user will need to select to add the ID value when commissioning rooms via the "Group Settings" tab for the first time.
