New Firmware Update with Enhanced Features and Known Issues
New Features:
- SIP VLAN Tagging: Support Auto Voice VLAN and Telephony OUI through LLDP.
- Secured Password Conformity: Users must create a new secure password upon first login to webUI.
- Zoom Room Controller Version 4.6.2: Release notes available here.
- Independent Zoom Room Controller Updates: Now upgrades separately from Mercury firmware; ensure auto-update enabled.
Enhancements:
- Improved Device Behavior: Upon new firmware upload, users must select Crestron Default, Teams Video, or ZOOM.
- Auto-Detection for Switch Configuration: Mercury will now support three LLDP mode fields for better switch compatibility.

Open Issues:
- SIP PJSIP Stack: Only supports TLS1.0 currently.
- VLAN Tagging Issue: Mercury with LLDP Enabled cannot register to Mitel MiVoice Business PBX.
- WebUI Display Error: Displays SIP LLDP-MED Voice VLAN Priority 0 as VLAN Priority 5.
- Incoming Call Disturbance: Interrupts ongoing presentations in Teams video mode.
- Huddly IQ Camera Issue: Intermittent disconnection during Teams calls.
- Audio Adapter Display Error: Shows two entries for 'Crestron Mercury' in Teams Video-BYOD Mode.
- Mute/Unmute Sync Issue: Not in sync between the laptop and Mercury-X in Teams mode.
- Miracast Error: Presents full screen with a black frame.
- Unsupported Video Resolutions: 1080p 30 Hz, 1080p 25 Hz, and 1080p 29.97 Hz not supported.
Update Instructions:
- After uploading new firmware, users must refresh WebUI to update SIP setting
qos_sip
& `qos_voice`. - Change Samsung QM49H TV power button setting to "Power On/Off".
- Restart iOS device if receiver hostname is overwritten on Airplay Menu during mirroring.
- Users must add NEC Multisync Serial driver ID in "Group Settings" tab when commissioning rooms for the first time.
