Open Issues:

  • When changing com ports on a working security system to a new com port, a 1-time reboot of the processor may be required to establish the COM connection permanently.

  • Crestron Tunable Fixtures will turn off during DIN-GWDL Firmware update.
  • Max number of Apple TVs using the HomeKit connection is 5; only 1 TSR-310 per room.
  • It is recommended to connect the Apple TV on a power controller in case communication is lost; a power cycle will recover the Apple TV.

Update Instructions:

  • Important: Please confirm that your processor is a V1 model before loading FW manually. To confirm, connect to the processor via text console in Toolbox and issue the command `<code>ver -v</code>`. The model number on the first line will show "CP4-R Cntrl Eng". If the wrong file is used, there are no side effects, and the Firmware upgrade will fail.
