Known Issue(s)

  • Adobe Air version 32 or later must be installed prior to XPanel installation.
  • It is recommended to uninstall previous versions of XPanel from Desktop before installing it from DMPS or installation may fail.
  • Switch configured with several DMB-4K-I-HD-DNT blades, small number of slot audio ion may reflect the correct state set however will not pass the ed audio after the system power cycle/reboot. Toggling the control via web GUI or programmatically controlling the join via SIMPL Windows program will resolve the issue.
  • Connecting a USB memory stick and SD card to the 128x128 simultaneously may cause one or the other device to fail to be recognized. Do not connect a USB memory stick and SD card simultaneously.
  • Fan tray and power supply errors will sometimes appear in the error log. These are communications timeout errors that can occur while the system is busy. They do not indicate fan tray or power supply failure.
  • Simultaneously power cycling an Ethernet switch and all endpoint devices connected to a 64x64 or 128x128 while the DM switch does not lose power can result in video loss on some endpoints. Crestron recommends connecting the Ethernet switch to a UPS if the DM switch is connected to a UPS.
  • It is not possible to safely downgrade to zip version 1.001.0038, released June 2013. Do not attempt.
