- Test pattern generator now renders images correctly for all supported resolutions.
- Security improvements:
- Eliminated a command injection vulnerability in the background image server path.
- Ensured SNMP updates are available with FIPS mode enabled.
Fixed Bugs:
- Resolved an issue where DM-NVX-Director would not come online when port mapping is enabled.
- Resolved an issue where the domain name was not displayed properly.
- Fixed an NAX audio loss issue if the video multicast address was set to 0.0.0.0.
- Resolved a device response timeout error when changing device credentials.
Open Issues:
- An API change in version 6 modified the stream name from "stream1" to "stream01" for uniformity.
- Some Logitech cameras might exhibit poor audio quality when routed through NVX USB extension.
- In some cases, removing and adding background images may cause a random loaded image to appear; this can be fixed by loading a specific image afterward.
- Clearing the OSD while the feature is enabled might leave the first character visible; setting the feature "off" resolves this.
- When changing endpoints from point-to-point mode to traditional, the multicast address may need manual adjustment.
- An authentication screen may display after a reboot; refreshing the page may be required.
- Downgrading to 4.x or below restricts the creation of custom EDID entries, while other entries remain operational.
- If analog audio was the selected source on DM-NVX-35x during an upgrade, it may revert to "Audio Follows Video" but can be resolved through the web UI or SIMPL programming.
- Streaming settings are unchangeable on the web interface when Statistics are enabled.
- Active Directory groups containing "/" in their name cannot be deleted.
- A manual refresh is necessary to update the CA certificate list in the web interface.
- The DM-NVX requires Username/Password for 802.1x "EAP-TLS Certificate."
- Crestron recommends using Google Chrome for firmware updates; other browsers might falsely report failures despite successful updates.
- DM-NVX-351 and 363 may not down mix some Dolby Atmos (MAT 2.0) and DTSX to PCM 2ch audio.
Update Instructions:
- Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for the update process.
- Ensure to back up all settings and data before proceeding with the update.
- For optimal results, use Google Chrome for firmware updates to avoid issues related to browser compatibility.
- After update, check the firmware version on the status page to confirm a successful installation.
