Known Issues
  • An API change was made in version 6 that modified the stream name from "stream1" to "stream01". A leading zero was incorporated to ensure uniformity across product lines.
  • Some Logitech cameras may have poor audio quality when routed through NVX USB extension.
  • In some cases, removing and adding background images may cause a random loaded image to appear. This can be resolved by ing a specific image after loading new images.
  • Background images may not appear after a power cycle.
  • Test pattern generator may not render 3840x2160 @ 60 Y4:2:0 correctly for all patterns.
  • Underscan may not work when values are ed from the drop down. Using the incremental values will resolve this issue.
  • Clearing the OSD while the feature is enabled, may leave the first character. Setting the feature "off" will resolve this issue.
  • When changing endpoints from point to point mode to traditional configuration, the multicast address will need to be manually changed.
  • Authentication screen may be displayed after a reboot. A refresh may be required to clear this error.
  • When downgrading to 4.x or below, you will not be able to create a custom EDID entry in the lower FW version. All other entries will remain operational.
  • When upgrading the DM-NVX-35x, if analog audio was the ed audio source, it may revert to "Audio Follows Video". This can be resolved in the web UI, or via SIMPL programming.
  • Streaming settings cannot be changed on the web interface when Statistics are enabled.
  • Unable to delete Active Directory groups with "/" included in the name of the group.
  • When a CA certificate is added to the web interface, the page must be manually refreshed in order to update the list.
  • The DM-NVX requires Username/Password for 802.1x "EAP-TLS Certificate."
  • Crestron recommends using Google Chrome for firmware updates. When using other browsers, the firmware update may report as failed although it has actually succeeded. Check the firmware version in the status page to confirm a successful firmware update.
  • DM-NVX-351 and 363 are unable to down mix some s of Dolby Atmos (MAT 2.0) and DTSX to PCM 2ch audio.

Fixed Issues
  • Improved HBR audio stability to some AVRs such as Trinnov and Lingdorf.
  • Resolved an issue with dropped video or audio on some USB cameras including Huddly IQ.
  • Resolved an issue where the DSP source ion would reset after a power cycle, or source switch.
  • Security enhancements.

Additional Notes:
  • .PUF files are no longer supported above firmware version 5.x. When downgrading from firmware version 5.x or above, please use the .zip file found within the .puf file. See Online Help Answer ID 1000866 for more information.
  • Firmware is installed using XiO Cloud, the device's webpage, or Auto Update via a 3 Series Control System, or using an SFTP server. Crestron Toolbox is not used to install this firmware.
  • .puf files are supported in DM NVX Firmware version 2.0.3900.00049 and higher. When updating devices running firmware prior to 2.0.3900.00049, extract the appropriate .zip file from the .puf and update the DM NVX device.
