Known Issues

  • For compatibility with DM-NVX-SW-C310 Software Encoder/Decoder all NVX endpoints need to use firmware version 7.1.5259.00069. DM NVX Software is NOT compatible with the 7.1.5259.00084 release.
  • Stream subscription may not updated if the discovery agent is turned off, then back on
  • In some cases, and NVX receiver may output a green image when a source is sending Y4:2:0, and the output is set to Y:4:2:2 or RGB
  • Samsung 8K display may show incomplete images when the switching between 12 bit color space.
  • Removing the NTP time server URL, or disabling the feature may leave the function enabled
  • Some test generator patterns may produce incorrect color from E30 and E760
  • If IPV6 is disabled in a secure CIP environment, and you are using an IPV6 network, hostnames will not function for control system connections
  • Restoring a configuration file will not work if the export folder is different from the import folder
  • The setup button may not display the IP address for displays running at Y 4:2:0
  • In some cases, refresh rates greater than 60 Hz may not allow for thumbnail image preview
  • IPV6 is supported for the primary audio video stream only. NAX and USB routing requires IPV4 support
  • IPV6 Secondary DNS is not displayed on the web UI status page
  • When disabling DHCP, the system may not call for a reboot.
  • FIPS PKCS#12 certificates with non FIPS compliant PBE algorithms fail when the device is in FIPS mode
  • Connects user is unable to log into Preview Image
  • Zoom aspect ratio may cause image to flicker @ 240 Hz
  • Preview image may stop working when using URL Encoding format characters
  • DM-NVX-35x lists scaler options that are above 120 Hz refresh rates. Setting the scaler to resolutions above 120 Hz may have unintended results. For more information, please see the product manual.
  • Background image remote file path URL will not accept special characters
  • NAX port number may not accept manual values. Using the up/down arrow or SIMPL/SIMPL# will allow the user to set the appropriate value
  • If the DM-NVX-35x AV route set to none, it may pass audio and or video to the stream or local output.
  • Multicast address form SIMPL and SIMPL # may accept invalid values, but will not pass video
  • When changing endpoints from point to point mode to traditional configuration, the multicast address will need to be manually changed.
  • Authentication screen may be displayed after a reboot. A refresh may be required to clear this error
  • When downgrading to 4.x or below, you will not be able to create a custom EDID entry in the lower FW version. All other entries will remain operational.
  • Streaming settings cannot be changed on the web interface when Statistics are enabled.
  • Unable to delete Active Directory groups with “/” included in the name of the group.
  • The DM-NVX requires Username/Password for 802.1x “EAP-TLS Certificate.”
  • DM-NVX-351 and 363 are unable to down mix some forms of Dolby Atmos (MAT 2.0) and DTSX to PCM 2ch audio.
