Acer XiO Connected displays support and TSW SNMP configuration
Improvements
Support for Acer XiO Connected displays.
Claim the Acer display using model type AcerConnectedDisplay. Support includes:
- Status for device info, power, volume, input, network
- Power on/off – scheduled and on-demand
- Configure alerts for status
- Settings – selected input, volume.
- Alerts for DM-NAX-AMP-X300 faults are now supported using a new method that allows users to configure one alert for all the available speaker output faults.
- SNMP configuration for TSW, TS, and TSS 70 series panels can be performed from XiO Cloud.
- Monitor and configure SNMP settings
- The minimum supported firmware that includes SNMP settings is 2.003.0037.001
- User login history available to global admins for download as a CSV report from the user management section of the portal.
- User privacy compliance requirements: Remote-control sessions for Personal Communication Devices (PCD) including all the UC-Phone models listed below, now require permission from the remote end user for each requested remote-control session. Additionally, users at the remote end can dismiss an active session at any time from the UC-Phone interface.
- Active remote-control sessions will need to be approved every 60 minutes.
- Existing users need to update the firmware to 1.0.6.X or above to continue to use the remote-control feature on PCD devices.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where a recurring scheduled reboot could be missed.
- Fixed an issue where the devices in a room are not visible when the group or subgroup above the room is selected in the tree.
- Crestron Power Controller: Fixed an issue where the NTP Time Server Address reverts to the old value after saving a new address.
- Fixed an issue where only the Delete button is available in the Connected Devices tab after a page refresh.
- NVX Settings: fixed an issue where the user is unable to remove enforcement of the Advanced Bitrate settings (all supported model)
Open issues
- Remote-control for PCD devices will not work until the device is running the firmware that supports user privacy compliance requirements. This XiO Cloud update will no longer support remote control functionality in the non-secure method.
- Note: at the time of the XiO Cloud 1.47 release, the minimum firmware version that supports remote-control for PCD is unavailable as a public release.A user may request this firmware from Crestron True Blue support, and it will be provided on a case-by-case basis. The approved release firmware is expected within a few weeks of the XiO Cloud release.
