New features with Google Assistant update
Google is releasing a new update for their Assistant to make it even better with new features. This includes the answer to broadcast, the entertainment control via Smart Display and the Google Assistant routines. Imagine you're standing at the butcher's and sending a broadcast to your family, "I just wanted to bring a hunter's roast, unfortunately, it's off, what do you want instead?"
While they actually come home with one of your favorite meat dishes. Does her family now have a chance to answer you? Your conversation lands on your smartphone via transcribed text and you can continue this conversation either via text or Google Assistant.
Furthermore, if you own a smart display, you can enjoy the new Home View Dashboard. This makes the Google Assistant a universal remote control for your home cinema. Because both TVs from Panasonic, LG and Roku as well as the Logitech Harmony remote controls should be controllable via Home View. In addition, the Google Assistant gets routines like you already can from Amazon Alexa. Here, for example, you can simply bundle devices and trigger them automatically through a series of actions.
