Quizzes in the Gemini app are now available to under-18 users

What’s changing
Earlier this year, we announced the ability to generate quizzes for any subject using Canvas in the Gemini app by uploading relevant documents or simply entering a prompt like “Give me a practice quiz about the nervous system”. Now, this feature is also available to users under 18 years of age. This means that students will be able to create their own quizzes, which they could use to help prepare for exams. Also, their educator could create quizzes and share them with their class.

Getting started

• Admins: There is no admin control for Canvas.
• End users: Visit the Help Center to learn more about taking quizzes in the Gemini app, uploading and analyzing files in the Gemini web app and Canvas in Gemini Apps. File upload from Google Drive in Gemini requires you to connect Google Workspace apps & services in Extensions setting.
