This is a bug that is known to Google, their solution to this problem is to upgrade your video adapters and drivers, due to outdated video adapters / drivers, screen sharing errors occur.

I am suffering the same issue in my new HP Laptop. It has got a Radeon Vega 3 card, with updated drivers (the drivers have been developed on april 2020). The same freezing effect happens, in Chrome and Firefox. Disabled hardware acceleration on chrome, but it also crashes. Please, I am stuck with this, thanks for any help
