Where is the SIM card installed?

According to the manual, any SIM card (anySIM) can be used here. The manual shows the card slot by the white connection cable - but there is no card slot there. Since my ebox is currently not doing anything (except displaying the electricity meter on the page), I suspect a problem with the SIM or connection to the backend and wanted to check the card accordingly...
