What operating modes are used for IO-Link and what each of them represents?
Several IO-Link operating modes allows the ports to operate in four different operating modes.
IO-Link operating mode - it is a mode that is used for data exchange between IO-Link and the attached field devices.
IO-Link DI operating mode - establishes the functioning of the port to be the same as a digital device.
IO-Link DQ operating mode - in this case, opposite of the DI operating mode, the ports are functioning as a digital output device.
IO-Link deactivated operating mode - this is meaning that the ports are not assigned to any of the other models and it is reserved for when a certain port is unused.
