SIO is single input or single output. Each port is defined as an input or output.
In the IO-Link SIO (standard IO - input/output or SIO mode) mode, the sensors are operating according to the factory-issued settings or the settings that are adjusted via IO-Link.
The functions range in SIO mode is specific to the sensor, periodically exchanging data between the IO-Link master and device.
