Charge power to Schuko connection?

Hello, I have unfortunately not yet managed to achieve higher charge current values than 8 amps with the Schuko connection. Does this not work in principle any more?

I have seen a video on Youtube, where one had charged with 13 ampere at the Schuko. I got the JB2 from Opel for my Corsa. The Schuko plug is already equipped with a temperature sensor.

Thanks a lot and best regards

Martin

  • As soon as the Schuko adapter is connected, a maximum charging power of 8A is stored to protect even "ignorant" electric car drivers from overload.
  • The "colleague" in the video has probably changed the operating mode to Norway. Caution. Failure to follow the Juici Booster safety instructions may result in short circuits, electric shocks, explosions, fires, burns or other fatal property damage and personal injury.
  • Have a qualified electrician install a CEE connection for e-cars or A wallbox. These are designed for higher currents, equipped with a protective device and suitable for continuous charging.
