How to perform a project backup in ETS6?

It is recommended for you to perform a project backup every time you do any modifications and verify if you can properly import that project backup.

There are three ways to do a project backup and we will mention them all.

Project backup via a standard project export

This is the simplest way to do the project backup by exporting the project itself and storing it in a safe location on either an external hard drive or any cloud service.

Project backup via the project archive

You can perform a project archiving and place that directory in a safe location.

Project backup via a third-party app

You can purchase the ETS App Autobackup solution, that will automatically create a snapshot of your ETS projects in a specified project location. This app is developed by a third party, thus KNX Association cannot support or be held liable for any malfunctions.
