LCOS LX - Improvements 7.00.0080 Rel

New Features

General
Support for Wi-Fi 7 and the access point LANCOM LX-7500.

  • Support for (Rapid) Spanning Tree.

Bugfixes / Improvements
General

  • When using class-based PoE negotiation, reserved memory was not released again, causing unexpected access point restarts.
  • The BLE scan only worked sporadically.
  • As of LCOS LX 6.20 Rel, access points no longer sent the ‘Host Name’ in the DHCP request.
  • In the WEBconfig interface, ‘Enhanced Open’ could not be selected as an authentication method.
  • In a LEPS scenario with VLAN, LANCOM LX-7300 / LX-7500 devices sometimes did not answer ARP requests from wireless clients connected to the same SSID.
  • In a scenario with a LANCOM LX-7300, where 5 GHz was switched off and only 2.4 GHz and 6 GHz were used, 6 GHz clients could not connect to an SSID.
  • In WEBconfig, the LMC coupling with the LMC coupling wizard did not work.
  • A device configuration downloaded via WEBconfig, which was changed after downloading, could not be loaded back into the device via WEBconfig.
  • The DHCP server of the LMC hotspot on an access point only supports IPv4. If the access point acted as a hotspot gateway and an IPv6 DNS server was assigned to it, the DHCP server on the access point rejected the DNS configuration, leading to wireless clients being unable to perform DNS resolution and the hotspot redirect not working.
