Improvements
Support for Facilitator agent in scheduled Teams meetings
When joining an assigned Teams meeting instance from a Microsoft Teams Room, participants in the Teams Room can experience all of the benefits of having Facilitator, including AI-generated notes, agenda and time tracking, AI queries from the web, etc. These features can be seen on the front-of-room display in the Teams Rooms, and is accessible to individual participants after the meeting instance via desktop and web.
Support for certified Touch Consoles connected to Touch board devices
You can now connect certified Touch consoles to Interactive touch board devices like the Surface Hub 3. Users can control the Teams Rooms experience either on the touchscreen or using the console.
Browser support for touch boards
Now you can access websites and line-of-business web applications using private browsing mode with Microsoft Edge on Teams Rooms on Windows touch boards, including Surface Hub 3. You can use the browser during meetings or outside of them, and admins can manage browsing policies via Pro Management Portal to ensure a secure and safe browsing experience
Recognition of in-room participants on meeting roster for Teams Rooms with Cloud IntelliFrame
Enrolled in-room participants during scheduled meetings are now recognized and listed in the meeting roster for remote attendees. Available only on Windows-based Teams Rooms using Cloud IntelliFrame. Requires the organization to enable face and voice recognition. Requires in-room participants to enroll with a recognition profile in Teams. Requires a scheduled meeting that lists the participant on the meeting invite.
Manage voice and face recognition for rooms via device settings
To simplify management and reduce configuration friction for voice and face recognition in Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), we’re introducing new admin-facing settings in the Teams Pro Management Portal. These settings replace PowerShell-based configuration with a more intuitive UI, offering clearer visibility into recognition status across rooms.
Multiple camera view shown in preview video and camera settings dialog
When multiple camera views are enabled, the preview video on the front-of-room display and the camera settings dialog will show multiple camera views. This feature allows in-room users to be aware of all camera streams that are simultaneously streaming to remote users.
Support for multiple camera views and IntelliFrame from Teams Rooms on Windows in Teams webinar and structured meetings
Multiple camera views and IntelliFrame (Multi-stream and Cloud) from Teams Rooms on Windows are now available in Teams webinar and structured meetings with "Manage what attendees see" enabled. Organizers and presenters of these meetings can access intelligent camera views and bring them on the live stage for attendees.
