RoomMate: Introducing Remote UI Access!
NEW FEATURES
Introducing Remote UI Access!
- Remote UI Access allows you to interact with CollabOS devices as if you were right in front of them.
- Our first Remote UI Access partnership is with GoTo Resolve, a leader in remote endpoint management. GoTo Resolve now lets you manage Logitech CollabOS devices alongside many other device types and endpoints in your fleet.
New Logitech Sync features
- Using Sync Portal, admins can now modify a network-connected device’s hostname.
- A custom NTP server configuration can be set and will automatically apply when a device is connected to Sync. This new feature can be applied at either an individual room level or in a group setting.
New Zoom Room features
- Logitech devices running CollabOS 1.10 can now wake up the meeting room using the PIR sensor data on Tap or Tap IP Zoom Room controller. This works great in conjunction with the Idle Time out settings to make sure rooms use less power when not in use.
- Learn more about controlling the power saving mode in CollabOS settings here:[3.5 Power Saving & Management - CollabOS Guide](https://prosupport.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/10612496491927)
New Teams on Android features
- Smart Camera Controls: End users can now use the native Teams controller to switch between various AI camera features such as Group Framing, Active Speaker & Composite People View.
- External Camera Support will be supported in a future CollabOS release for RoomMate.
IMPROVEMENTS
Local Network Access enabled by default
- New devices running CollabOS 1.10 or higher when being set up, will have LNA turned on by default. making it one step easier to get devices configured over the network. Existing devices that upgrade to CollabOS 1.10 or later will not change their existing LNA settings.
Zoom Rooms Appliances
- Updated Zoom Room to version 5.15.5
