Added HDMI-IN Support for Google Meet on Android

NEW FEATURES

Added HDMI-IN Support for Google Meet on Android

  • Google Meet on Android now supports HDMI-IN on the back of the device for content-sharing.
  • This enhancement allows users to share content via an HDMI cable connected directly to the back of the device, improving flexibility and providing an alternative to Google Meet Companion Mode.

Introducing RightSight 2 camera modes for Google Meet!

  • Users can now configure any of the three RightSight 2 camera modes (Speaker View, Group View, and Grid View) when using Google Meet.

Introducing CollabOS and Sync Cloud APIs!

  • CollabOS APIs and Sync Cloud APIs make it easy for IT teams to integrate Logitech devices into enterprise workflows, monitor devices, access insights, and build smarter workplaces at scale.

IMPROVEMENTS

RightSound 2

  • We’ve improved our microphone processing to make voices sound more natural and clear. Speech remains consistent, even in the presence of background noise, while unwanted sounds, such as in-room echo, are reduced.

RightSight 2

  • Added an option to enable or disable Picture-in-Picture (PiP) as part of the configuration of Speaker View. This option is now available in CollabOS Settings, Local Network Access (LNA) and Sync.
  • Speaker Highlight is now enabled by default when using Grid View.

CollabOS

  • Danish and Norwegian are now available for use with service provider applications. Check your service provider’s documentation to see if these languages are supported.
  • The device serial number and MAC address now appear on the “Confirm installation” summary page at the end of setup.
  • While using the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) feature with Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or in BYOD mode as the selected service provider, a notification will appear on the display when you use camera preset controls.

Local Network Access (LNA)

  • The LNA username can now be changed when using either LNA or Sync.
  • You can now use a password-protected private key when replacing the default self-signed LNA web server certificate. Learn more about Local Network Access certificate management here.

  • Fixed an issue where a device may unexpectedly disconnect from Sync Cloud.
  • Fixed an issue where devices provisioned to Sync would occasionally experience unexpected configuration changes, such as time format modifications.

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android

  • Fixed an issue that prevented PowerPoint Live presentations from being displayed on CollabOS devices.
  • Fixed an issue where, in dual display configuration, the screen layout would appear mirrored after waking from power-saving mode.
  • Fixed an issue where the message “HDMI-2 Output is not connected” would be mirrored when resuming from idle state.

Zoom Rooms Appliance

  • Fixed an issue where the system would respond slowly to mute or unmute commands, and sometimes fail to unmute properly.
  • Fixed an issue where a device with a Logitech Swytch or Logitech Extend connected would not transmit room audio during a Direct Guest Join (DGJ) call to Microsoft Teams.
  • Fixed an issue where the CollabOS device would unexpectedly disconnect from ZDM after a reboot when network services or NTP sync exceeded the expected threshold.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause an unexpected device reboot during a meeting.
