Screen cut off in BYOD mode for Rally Bar?

We have a Rally bar set up in BYOD mode. When we connect various dell laptops to the HDMI in the image projected to 85 LG tv always seems to not show the full screen? the image projected goes over the boundary of the tv screen both vertically and horizontally. What might the issue be?
