Connection to Logitech Tap?

Hello. has anyone connected Logi Roommate to the Logitech TAP? There doesn't seem to be any videos or text description on how to connect, and may be missing parts out of the box, ie it implies that a USB Ethernet adapter is required to connect the to the TAP, surely you can connect over the LAN if it is PoE. Some questions:

1) Has anyone set it up, currently the roommate can't see the TAP, either connected via the LAN or via one of our USB/Ethernet adapters?

2) can you connect via the LAN or does it have to be USB via an adapter.

3) any links on how to set it up other than just a diagram?

I have the RoomMate setup with the TAP IP and it works great. You have to use the HDMI ingest on the back of the RoomMate until they get it to work from the TAP, but otherwise the controller works great. I read that the feature will be released "soon."
