There are several differences.
Tap
- The Logitech Tap has an HDMI ingest and USB-A input.
- Acts as a standalone display via display link.
- The Tap must be connected via USB-RJ45 to the PC / Rally Bar
- Compatible with: Google Meet, Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android / Windows, Zoom Rooms Appliances, Zoom Rooms for Windows, GoTo Rooms (appliance-based) Pexip (appliance-based), RingCentral Rooms (appliance-based), Tencent Meeting Rooms.
Tap IP
- The Tap IP has WiFi and Blutooth
- Has its own operating system with which it can connect to other systems via the cloud with the same account.
- The Tap IP is powered by PoE and connected to the Rally bar via the Logi / Teams servers.
