How do I add a password for a meeting?

I wanted to avoid unwanted joiners from my GoToMeeting sessions. Where do you set a password?

You can set a password from the web, the desktop app, and the iOS app. Remember that GoToMeeting will not automatically send that password to the attendees. You need to manually send over the said password as an invitation to your password-protected meeting.

Setting it up is virtually identical to all platforms:

  1. Schedule a meeting or edit an existing one
  2. Click to enable the checkbox on “Require a meeting password”
  3. Click Save/Done/Schedule
