Generally Available: Auto activation for SaaS subscriptions in Microsoft Marketplace
Auto activation for SaaS solutions is now available in Microsoft Marketplace, making it faster and easier to get the value from your SaaS products. When auto activation is enabled, your subscription—and billing cycle—begins the moment you complete your purchase, removing the need for post-purchase activation steps.

Because auto activation is a partner‑controlled setting, availability may vary by offer. You can confirm this with the partner in advance or see the auto activation status in the public or private offer purchase flow.

Generally Available: Application Insights Auto-instrumentation for Azure Kubernetes Service apps
Azure Monitor Application Insights auto-instrumentation for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) apps is now generally available, making it easier to monitor your applications without modifying source code. With just a few configuration steps, you can automatically instrument Java and Node.js workloads running on AKS and start collecting telemetry with Application Insights.

This capability helps teams quickly unlock Application Insights experiences such as application maps, end-to-end transaction diagnostics, distributed tracing, and log analysis without the time and effort of manual code changes. By using auto-instrumentation with the Azure Monitor OpenTelemetry Distro, you can accelerate troubleshooting, improve visibility into application health, and simplify observability for cloud-native workloads on AKS.

Generally Available: Azure Front Door WebSocket
Azure Front Door Standard and Premium now support WebSocket in general availability. WebSocket is enabled by default and requires no additional configuration.

WebSocket provides full-duplex communication over a single, long-lived TCP connection, enabling efficient, low-latency data exchange without the need for polling. This reduces overhead and improves resource utilization for real-time applications.

With native WebSocket support, Azure Front Door can power interactive and real-time scenarios such as chat applications, live dashboards, financial data streaming, gaming, and other continuous data workloads.
