Generally Available: Azure Data Box Next Gen is now generally available in additional regions
Azure Data Box Next Gen is now Generally Available in NEW regions including Australia, Japan, Singapore, Brazil, Hong Kong, UAE, Switzerland and Norway.
With these new additions, we now have

• Both - Azure Data box 120TB and 525 TB generally available (GA) in the US, UK, Canada, EU, US Gov, Australia, Japan and Singapore.
• Azure Data Box 120TB is GA in Brazil, UAE, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Norway.

Earlier this year we announced general availability of Azure Data Box 120 TB and Azure Data Box 525 TB, our next-generation, compact, NVMe-based Data Box devices. We have ingested several petabytes of data from diverse industries, with customers noting up to 10x faster data transfer. The new devices are valued for their reliability and efficiency in large-scale migration projects.

Azure Storage Discovery integrates with Azure Copilot. Unlock insights across your data estate and accelerate decision-making by simply asking for what you need to know. Whether you're a cloud architect, storage administrator, or data governance lead, Azure Storage Discovery helps you quickly answer key questions like:

• How much data is stored across all my storage accounts?
• Which regions are experiencing the fastest growth?
• Where can I reduce costs by adjusting access tiers or removing stale data?

Storage Discovery is available in two pricing plans:

• Free: Includes basic insights.
• Standard: Unlocks full insights and is free to use until September 30th. Charges begin October 1st.

When you deploy a Storage Discovery workspace into your Azure resource group, you can start analyzing your data estate across subscriptions within hours. We’ll even provide historical data for up to 30 days before your workspace creation. Over time, Azure Storage Discovery enables you to analyze annual trends, like peaks and valleys in business workloads, with up to 18 months of data retention included.
