Generally Available: Azure Premium SSD v2 now available in more regions

We are excited to announce Premium SSD v2 in the following non-AZ regions: US West, UK West, Canada East, Australia Southeast, North Central US, West Central US, Australia Central 2, and Norway West. Azure Premium SSD v2, a next-generation general-purpose block storage solution, offers sub-millisecond latencies and exceptional price performance for IO-intensive workloads at a low cost. It is well-suited for a broad range of enterprise production scenarios, including SQL Server, Oracle, MariaDB, SAP, Cassandra, MongoDB, big data analytics, gaming on virtual machines, and stateful containers.

Public Preview: Continuous patching in Azure Container Registry
The continuous patching feature automates the detection and remediation of operating system(OS) level vulnerabilities in container images. By scheduling regular scans with Trivy and applying security fixes using Copa, you can maintain secure, up-to-date images in your registry—without requiring access to source code or build pipelines. Simply customize the schedule and target images to keep your Azure Container Registry(ACR) environment safe and compliant.

Generally Available: Azure Storage Actions – Serverless storage data management

Azure Storage Actions, our fully managed platform that transforms how organizations automate data management tasks for Azure Blob and Data Lake Storage, is now generally available in select Azure regions.

Azure Storage Actions enables you to quickly compose and deploy tasks that can scan, analyze and process billions of objects across multiple storage accounts without requiring any programming skills. You can use blob tags and metadata as parameters in conditions and operations for dynamic flexibility in how each object is processed. Results are easily monitored through dashboards with rapid drill downs to individual operations. Combining a no-code experience with serverless infrastructure, Azure Storage Actions eliminates complexity, boosts efficiency and drives consistency.

Supported use cases include managing retention and expiry, reducing costs, data protection, consistent tag management, restore from archive, with more to come.

With general availability, you can now use Azure Storage Actions to manage the largest Storage deployments with confidence.
